R.J. "Bob" Mahaffey - Bob, a life long resident of west central Florida, moved here from Michigan in 1953. Upon graduation , which included a senior year working on the Electro-gyro Guidance Systems for Gemini and Apollo, Bob started his transition into the construction industry. In the thirty plus years since, his time was split between the preparation of Architectural Construction documents as a draftsman and project manager to Construction Management and Supervision for leading worldwide construction companies. Responsibilities include projects through out the United States and in South America, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and West Africa.
Bob received his State Certification as a General Contractor in 1989, CGC 047540, and is also a (CMI) Certified Mold Inspector, a (CHPI) Home and Property Inspector and is a member of the Mold Inspection Consulting and Remediation Organization, the Disaster Contractors Network, US Department of Homeland Security National Preparedness Coalition, Central Contracts Registry, My Safe Florida Home participating member and founder of The Emergency Response Alliance.
Edward C. Hardesty - Ed was born in Ohio and chose to escape the icy climate to move to Florida in 1971. As part of his thirty-five years of experience in the construction industry, his work has included responsibility as both a construction project manager and a purchasing manager for several large United States corporate entities, as well as extensive international experience as a project manager, and as a quality assurance representative / installation coordinator for a joint venture between the United States Air Force and the Royal Saudi Air Force. Ed's reputation as possessing a superior level of integrity and work ethic have served him well.
Ed has dedicated his life to promoting and improving the construction industry and has worked for many well-known clients. Most recently, Ed worked closely with an
internationally recognized Italian interior designer, constructing a twelve thousand square foot waterfront estate home on the West Coast of Florida.
From pre-planned communities, military installations, condominium projects, disaster reconstruction, distinctive estate properties, to simple remodeling projects, Ed's personal high standard of professionalism remains the same. His technical ability and sense of pride in his work have exceeded the standards of even the most discriminating client.
Ed has been an integral team member in many different ventures and projects, thereby earning him the respect of both his peers and clientele. Ed's "personal touch" with his clients and other professionals in the industry will remain unchanged.
